Health and Safety
The cleanliness of our studio has always been a priority at Chiqui Social. And now, we’ve introduced additional procedures to ensure the safety and health of all children and staff.
New Screening Procedures Upon Arrival:
At drop off, we will take the temperature of every child before they enter the studio using a touchless thermometer. Any child with a temperature over 100.4 F or exhibiting symptoms will not be able to join camp.
New Drop-In & Pick-Up Procedures:
Only one adult can accompany a child at drop off and pick-up and only one family allowed in the lobby area at one time.
You may drop off your child up to 30 minutes after the start of their session.
Masks:
Children and staff will be required to wear masks. All parents and teachers are asked to wear masks at drop off and pick-up. All Chiqui Staff will wear face masks, gloves will also be available as needed. All other adults entering the premises must wear a face-covering mask.
Limited Group & Class Sizes:
Classes are divided by age and each child assigned a specific group and time slot to create consistency. Group sizes now limited to 10 kids per group. Tutoring sessions will be a max of 5 students.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Staff and children required to thoroughly wash hands throughout the day and disinfect upon entry. We have scheduled handwashing breaks throughout the day and hand sanitizing stations are provided throughout the studio. Each child has his/her own sets of toys and materials and we will encourage children not to share toys. Surfaces are disinfected after activity transition. A deep clean of the premises performed every evening and additional cleaning throughout the day.
Our studio uses a single-source HVAC system that pumps fresh air into the center. We have replaced our filters and have an air purifier as well as fans to keep air flowing. Our floor tiles are also anti-microbial
Lunch & Snacks:
Campers should bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottles. All items must be individually labeled and placed in their own-labeled bag.
Studio Setup
We have 5 classrooms including a large outdoor classroom. They have been redesigned to participate in all the activities while still providing more room for social distancing.
